Tech Support Squad is a growing UK managed IT and cybersecurity company supporting small and medium-sized businesses.We help organisations improve their IT support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud systems and business continuity. Our clients rely heavily on technology, so the conversations we start are about solving genuine business problems rather than selling unnecessary products.
We are looking for a confident and organised B2B appointment setter based in the Philippines to support our UK sales activity.
This is not a high-pressure call-centre role. Your job is to research suitable UK businesses, speak with decision-makers, identify genuine opportunities and arrange qualified introductory meetings for our UK team.
Working hours The role is four hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Your shift will consist of:
- Two hours before UK calling time: Prospect research, CRM updates, email preparation, LinkedIn activity and follow-up administration.
- 09:00–11:00 UK time: Outbound telephone calls to UK businesses.
- 14:00–18:00 Philippine time while the UK is using British Summer Time.
- 15:00–19:00 Philippine time while the UK is using Greenwich Mean Time.
Your responsibilities will include
- Researching suitable UK businesses and identifying the correct decision-makers.
- Building and maintaining accurate prospect records in HubSpot.
- Making outbound calls to UK business owners, directors, operations managers and finance leaders.
- Introducing Tech Support Squad and explaining the value of an independent IT or cybersecurity review.
- Asking sensible qualification questions rather than reading from a script.
- Handling common objections professionally and respectfully.
- Sending approved follow-up emails and LinkedIn messages.
- Booking qualified appointments into the UK sales team’s calendar.
- Recording every call, conversation, outcome and next action accurately.
- Following a structured 14-day outreach process across telephone, email and LinkedIn.
- Providing a short daily activity and results report.
- Handing over qualified opportunities clearly to the UK team.
Once established, your normal expectations will include:
- At least 12 genuine outbound dials per day, with a working target of 15.
- At least 10 newly researched and qualified prospects per day.
- Consistent completion of scheduled email and LinkedIn follow-ups.
- Accurate HubSpot records for every prospect contacted.
- A minimum target of approximately two qualified appointments per week once fully established.
- Clear, timely handovers to the UK sales team.
You should have
- At least two years of experience in B2B cold calling, appointment setting or outbound sales.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- A clear, confident and professional telephone manner.
- Experience speaking with business owners or senior decision-makers.
- The confidence to make calls into the UK market.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to respond naturally.
- Good online research and data-entry skills.
- Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel or a similar platform.
- Good personal organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to follow a structured process consistently without constant supervision.
- A positive attitude towards targets, coaching and performance feedback.
