Part-time Business Systems & QA Software Manager
This position requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills to successfully manage and optimize business systems and quality assurance software within a part-time capacity.
The Business
Systems & QA Software Manager will be responsible for learning and becoming proficient in the use and administration of AroFlo software, leading the migration of historical operational and project data from Simpro into AroFlo while ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and providing training and ongoing support to staff on effective software usage. The role includes designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence dashboards that analyze job revenue, costs, gross profit tracking, project expenses, budget forecasts, and overall project performance metrics, as well as developing executive-level dashboards offering consolidated financial reporting and data integration with MYOB accounting software. Additionally, the manager will build, customize, or integrate software solutions for Project Quality Control and Inspection Test Plans, identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements through technology, and collaborate with management and operational teams to implement systems that support business growth and decision-making. Must-have qualifications include experience with AroFlo, Simpro, MYOB, or similar field service and accounting platforms, strong experience in data migration and systems implementation, expertise in dashboard development and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio, a solid understanding of project costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and proficiency with software integrations, API connections, and workflow automation.Preferred qualifications include the ability to train end users and translate technical concepts into practical business solutions. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the candidate's ability to create a connected business systems environment that provides real-time visibility into project performance, financial health, operational efficiency, and quality control processes across multiple companies.
