We're looking for an experienced Philippine-qualified lawyer who wants more than just another legal job.

Position Details

Location: Remote (Philippines)

Employment Type: Part-Time

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Schedule: Flexible, with occasional overlap for meetings in Eastern Time

This is an opportunity to work directly with a Canadian corporate lawyer, helping entrepreneurs and businesses navigate corporate and commercial legal matters while building a modern, technology-driven law firm.

What You'll Do

  • Draft and review corporate and commercial legal documents
  • Prepare contracts, corporate resolutions, and governance documents
  • Conduct legal research relating to Canadian corporate and business law
  • Review and improve AI-assisted legal drafts
  • Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions
  • Collaborate directly with the Principal Lawyer on active client matters
  • Help improve legal systems, templates, and workflows
What We're Looking For

Required

  • Philippine-qualified lawyer in good standing with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Law, Corporate Law, or Commercial Law
  • Experience working in North American markets (ideally Canada and/or USA)
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a remote, technology-driven environment using AI tools and Notion for collaboration and workflow management.
