What You'll Do
- Draft and review corporate and commercial legal documents
- Prepare contracts, corporate resolutions, and governance documents
- Conduct legal research relating to Canadian corporate and business law
- Review and improve AI-assisted legal drafts
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions
- Collaborate directly with the Principal Lawyer on active client matters
- Help improve legal systems, templates, and workflows
Required
- Philippine-qualified lawyer in good standing with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Law, Corporate Law, or Commercial Law
- Experience working in North American markets (ideally Canada and/or USA)
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a remote, technology-driven environment using AI tools and Notion for collaboration and workflow management.
