Do you want to work part time?

We are looking for a Production Operator, Wednesday & Thursday Wed 2pm to 10pm.

Join us at our centre of excellence for cheese cutting and packing of the nation’s favourite cheeses - Cathedral City, Davidstow and Wensleydale.

Salary:

  • Level 1 £13.60 per hour
  • Site bonus scheme up to £800 per annum (Pro Rata)


Holiday: 25 Days per year + Bank Holidays (Pro Rata)

You will make contributions that matter by...

  • Working as part of the Operations team in an air temperature of 12oC
  • Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding & control, line set up, operation of wrapping machines, using machinery and materials handling equipment
  • Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)


You are best suited for the role if you are…

  • Familiar working in a food production environment
  • Experienced with manual handling, ideally gained in a manufacturing role
  • Knowledgeable in Health and Safety
  • Able to adapt to an ever-changing production environment
  • Experienced working with different types of machinery
