Part-Time Senior-Level Licensed Accountant/Bookkeeper
We are a growing travel and entertainment company seeking a reliable and highly organized licensed accountant/bookkeeper to maintain and improve our financial records.
The role will work closely with our CEO and fractional CFO and will be responsible for keeping QuickBooks and internal financial records accurate, organized, and ready for review.
Responsibilities
-Maintain and clean up QuickBooks Online
-Categorize and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
-Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Track customer payments, payment plans, and vendor expenses
-Organize revenue and expenses by event or business division
-Maintain Excel or Google Sheets reports
-Prepare weekly or monthly financial summaries
I-dentify and correct discrepancies or missing information
Requirements
-Must be a licensed accountant
-Minimum of 10 years of experience working with U.S.-based businesses or clients
-QuickBooks certification is required
-Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
-Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
-Experience with bank reconciliations, AP, and AR
-Strong attention to detail and written English communication skills
-Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
-Experience in travel, hospitality, events, entertainment, or e-commerce is preferred.
Schedule
-Approximately 3–5 hours per week initially
-Flexible remote schedule
-Occasional availability during U.S. business hours
-Hours may increase as the company grows
