Part-time Staff Accountant

Job Description:

    We are looking for a part-time Staff Accountant who is enthusiastic about working independently. This role demands a fast-paced environment and keen attention to detail. The perfect candidate will excel in organizing data with spreadsheets.This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) and will follow US Eastern business working hours.**Duties and Responsibilities**- Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities in QuickBooks Online- Payroll processing and AP management via Gusto- Month-end close and reconciliations across multiple bank platforms- Weekly cash and spend summaries with clear, executive-facing reporting for the founder- Expense categorization, reimbursements, and ongoing bookkeeping hygiene- Proactive flagging of spend trends and burn rate concerns

Requirements:

    - Experienced individual who possesses and demonstrates key organizational skills, including but not limited to physical organization, prioritization skills, collaboration, effective communication (both written and verbal), time management, self-motivation, and self-management.- 4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally across multiple entities- QuickBooks Online proficiency — non-negotiable- Gusto experience strongly preferred- Ability to produce clean, founder-friendly financial reports — not just pulling data, but interpreting it- Strong written English for async communication via Discord and Gmail
