PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (Thermoforming Machine)
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Production Technician, Machine Technician, Thermoforming Technician, or similar position is preferred.
Practical experience operating or supporting thermoforming machines.
Knowledge of plastic manufacturing and thermoforming processes.
Understanding of machine setup, production parameters, and equipment adjustments.
Ability to monitor machine performance and identify abnormal operating conditions.
Knowledge of plastic sheet heating, forming, cooling, trimming, and related production processes.
Ability to identify common thermoforming defects and make appropriate adjustments.
Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with molds, forming tools, machine components, and changeover procedures.
Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance and routine machine inspections.
Good understanding of production quality requirements.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production specifications.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
Willing to work shifts and extended hours when required by production schedules.

Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare thermoforming machines for production according to production schedules and specifications.
Operate and monitor thermoforming equipment during production.
Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, forming time, cooling time, and cycle parameters as required.
Ensure plastic sheets and other raw materials are properly loaded and positioned.
Monitor heating and forming processes to ensure consistent production results.
Check machine operating conditions and identify abnormal performance or production issues.
Inspect thermoformed products for dimensions, shape, thickness, appearance, and other quality requirements.
Identify and troubleshoot common thermoforming defects and production problems.
Make appropriate machine adjustments to correct product defects and maintain quality.
Assist in mold, tooling, and machine changeovers.
Ensure molds and forming tools are correctly installed, aligned, and secured.
Monitor mold condition and report wear, damage, or other issues.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and routine machine checks.
Clean and maintain thermoforming machines, molds, tools, and production areas.
Assist maintenance personnel with machine troubleshooting and repairs when required.
Replace or adjust basic machine components when authorized.
Monitor production output and machine efficiency.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and machine-operation records.
Report machine breakdowns, production delays, material problems, and quality concerns to supervisors.
Ensure proper use and handling of raw materials and finished products.
Follow production schedules, operating procedures, quality standards, and technical instructions.
Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating or servicing machinery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Coordinate with operators, quality control personnel, maintenance technicians, and production supervisors.
