We're looking for a collaborative and adaptable QA Engineer to join one of our clients’ growing technology teams. As a QA Engineer , you'll support multiple development teams, helping ensure high-quality software releases through a combination of manual testing, automation, defect management, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Senior QA Engineers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that create exceptional user experiences.

This is a fully remote, Philippines-based opportunity where you'll collaborate with global teams and contribute to innovative products in a dynamic technology environment.

Role Summary As a QA Engineer , you'll serve as a flexible quality assurance resource across multiple project teams. You'll execute test plans, identify and document defects, support automation initiatives, and help ensure software releases meet quality standards.

You'll be responsible for conducting functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing while contributing to continuous improvements in testing processes and automation coverage. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing across multiple products and projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Senior QA Engineers to ensure requirements are testable and aligned with quality objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using QA and project management tools.
  • Assist in testing third-party integrations, APIs, and data workflows to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Contribute to test automation initiatives, including identifying automation opportunities and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Support production issue investigations, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes.
  • Provide usability and customer experience feedback to improve product quality and user satisfaction.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities as a quality advocate.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and projects, providing testing support where business priorities require.
  • Promote quality best practices, process improvements, and continuous testing initiatives.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 2–5+ years of Quality Assurance experience within Agile software development environments.
  • Experience testing web applications, SaaS platforms, and software integrations.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Shortcut, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and working knowledge of JSON and XML.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Experience with API automation testing.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.
  • Experience with RPA, automation platforms, or low-code/no-code technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience supporting multiple product teams or cross-functional project environments.

  • Reports to: QA Lead, Engineering Manager, or Head of Product Development
  • Fully remote, Philippines-based role
  • Collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones
  • May require occasional flexibility to support release activities and production investigations
