QA Tester

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist proficient in both manual and automated testing who will design, build, and lead a comprehensive QA program for the company’s EV Charging Management Software and related products. It centers on ensuring quality, security, and reliability across web, mobile, and backend platforms through a mix of test strategy development, automation, and hands-on manual and exploratory testing, while embedding a strong quality culture within the development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance (1-4years), particularly for SaaS products

  • Strong expertise in creating and executing test scripts, test plans, and test cases

  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)

  • Solid understanding of software development and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team

  • Experience with mobile application testing and/or the EV charging or energy management software space is a plus, but not required

  • Experience in using test toolchain covering unit/component testing, integration tests, and end-to-end (E2E) tests

  • Experience of using Storybook for developing and testing UI components in isolation

  • Competency in using the following testing tools : Jest, React Testing Library (RTL), Cypress and Postman

  • Adequate experience of using Playwright for E2E testing

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and define test cases.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

  • Conduct manual testing to identify defects, usability issues, and other areas of improvement in the software product.

  • Design and implement automated test suites for regression testing, ensuring the continuous quality of our product.

  • Perform testing across web, mobile, and integration products to ensure consistent quality across the entire ecosystem.

  • Build and maintain a reusable library of test scripts and suites to improve the QA process over time.

  • Develop automated test scripts for both UI and functional testing to support scalable, repeatable QA workflows.

  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover less obvious issues and provide valuable insights to improve user experience.

  • Monitor and report on test results, including identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.

  • Assist in identifying areas for process and quality improvements and provide feedback to the development team.

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.

  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
