Registered Nurse (Remote Clinical Virtual Assistant)

Are you a licensed nurse who wants to keep using your clinical judgment — without the 10-12-hour shifts MEDVA is seeking Registered Nurses to support U.S.-based healthcare providers with patient triage, care coordination, and clinical documentation, entirely from a remote setting.

What You'll Do

*
Triage patient calls and messages using nursing assessment skills, escalating urgent and emergent cases per protocol

*
Conduct patient education on diagnoses, medications, pre- and post-procedure instructions, and self-management

*
Support chronic care management and remote patient monitoring programs, including scheduled check-ins and documentation

*
Assist with medication management, refill requests, and prior authorization clinical reviews

*
Communicate test results, prescriptions, and treatment plans under provider direction

*
Perform post-discharge and post-op follow-up calls, flagging complications early

*
Document patient encounters accurately and maintain complete, audit-ready medical records

*
Coordinate care across providers, specialists, and patients to close referral and follow-up loops

*
Support administrative workflows including scheduling, charting, and report generation

*
Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold clinical documentation standards

What You Bring

*
Registered Nurse license (your resume must clearly indicate license)

*
Minimum of 1-year clinical nursing experience

*
Experience working in a remote medical setting or telehealth nursing role

*
Experience with U.S. healthcare regulations, insurance workflows, and documentation standards

*
Strong command of nursing assessment, medical terminology, disease processes, and pharmacology

*
Demonstrated experience in patient triage and urgency assessment

*
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical information clearly and compassionately over phone and chat

*
Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare tech platforms

*
Sound clinical judgment and the discipline to work within scope and provider direction

*
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
