Registered Nurse (USRN – Florida License) Remote Patient Educator

Philippines-based | Work from Home | U.S. Eastern Hours

Serene Resolutions is a Florida-based healthcare organization that partners with healthcare providers to deliver behavioral health, care coordination, and patient support services that improve access to care and patient outcomes throughout Florida.

We're hiring a Philippines-based Registered Nurse who holds an active Florida (USA) RN license to provide phone-based patient education to our patients in Florida. You'll be the voice that helps patients understand their care between visits—from your home in the Philippines.

What You'll Do

  • Call patients to walk them through provider-approved medication changes—what changed, why, and what to expect.
  • Educate patients and families about lab orders: why the test was ordered, how to prepare, and when and where to complete it.
  • Answer routine questions using our provider-approved protocols and education materials.
  • Recognize when a question needs clinical judgment beyond the protocol and route it to the provider team—you will never be asked to diagnose, prescribe, or change a treatment plan.
  • Document every patient interaction in our EHR.
  • Coordinate with providers and the care team to ensure patients receive timely education and appropriate follow-up after provider-directed care decisions.
This is a provider-directed patient education role designed to operate squarely within the Registered Nurse scope of practice. There is no cold calling, sales, or independent clinical decision-making. What You'll Need
  • An active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing. A single-state Florida license is exactly what we need. A license issued by another U.S. state alone, or a Philippine PRC license without a Florida RN license, does not qualify.
Why a Florida license? Our patients are located in Florida, and U.S. nursing regulations require nurses to be authorized to practice in the patient's state. Because nurses residing outside the United States are generally not eligible for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate privileges, an active Florida RN license is required.
  • Currently residing in the Philippines. This is a permanent remote position and does not include U.S. visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
  • At least two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in patient education, medical-surgical nursing, ambulatory care, chronic disease management, telehealth, or a similar setting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to explain medical information clearly, confidently, and compassionately.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during U.S. Eastern business hours (night shift in the Philippines).
  • A professional home office with:
  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload)
  • A quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential patient conversations
  • Backup internet and power are strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional active U.S. Registered Nurse licenses
  • Previous USRN, telehealth, remote nursing, or healthcare call center experience serving U.S. patients
  • Active Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Registered Nurse license
  • Experience supporting adult, geriatric, chronic care, behavioral health, or primary care patients
Employment Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Engagement: Through Serene Resolutions' Employer of Record (EOR) partner
  • Compensation: Competitive and based on experience, plus applicable locally compliant employee benefits
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday during U.S. Eastern business hours (night shift in the Philippines)
How to Apply Along with your resume, please include:
  1. Your Florida RN license number and expiration date.
  2. A brief summary of your patient education or clinical nursing experience.
  3. A recent internet speed test screenshot.
  4. Your current city and province in the Philippines.
  5. Your earliest available start date.
All Florida RN licenses will be verified through Nursys before interviews are scheduled. Serene Resolutions is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcomes qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds.
