Salesforce & Data Lead (Hands-on Developer)

Description:

  • Own and manage Salesforce data quality, hygiene, and overall system integrity.
  • Design and maintain scalable CRM architecture aligned with business and campaign needs.
  • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Lead development standards, best practices, and technical direction across the Salesforce platform.
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, duplication risks, and inefficiencies to ensure high-quality data for campaigns.
  • Oversee and optimise data ingestion, enrichment, and automation processes and pipelines.
  • Manage and improve integrations between Salesforce and external tools, and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Reduce technical debt, continuously improve system performance, and document processes and architecture.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and mentoring to junior or support technical and data resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Administrator and data specialists on workflows and enrichment to ensure readiness for campaign execution.

Requirements:

  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, governance, and best practices.
  • Experience working in live production environments with existing systems and taking ownership of issues.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of CRM systems and drive data quality improvements.
  • Experience collaborating with Salesforce Administrators and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical or data-focused team members.
  • Familiarity with data extraction or scraping tools (e.g., Apify) is a strong advantage.
  • Must be able to work aligned to Sydney, Australia business hours and have fast/reliable internet, a suitable personal laptop/desktop, and a quiet working environment.
