SAT Math Tutor – Part-Time | Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a strong Math Tutor to help students prepare specifically for the Math section of the SAT.

The ideal candidate has excellent math skills, communicates clearly in English, and is able to break down challenging concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.

You will work remotely with students who are preparing for the SAT, helping them strengthen their math fundamentals, solve SAT-style questions, and develop effective test-taking strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct online tutoring sessions focused on SAT Math.
  • Teach and review algebra, functions, geometry, problem-solving, data analysis, and other SAT Math topics.
  • Walk students through SAT-style questions step by step.
  • Teach strategies for improving accuracy, speed, and time management.
  • Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Adapt lessons based on each student's individual needs.
  • Review practice questions, assignments, and mock exams.
  • Maintain professional and reliable communication with students.
Requirements
  • Strong command of high school and college-preparatory mathematics.
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently.
  • Reliable internet connection and a computer suitable for online tutoring.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous SAT tutoring or SAT preparation experience.
  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with the current Digital SAT format.
  • Experience working with international students is a plus.
  • Preferred Skill: Spanish language proficiency
Schedule This is a part-time position. Working hours will be coordinated based on student availability.

Compensation

$10 USD per hour.
