About the Opportunity
Simula Financial is a growing U.S. financial education and debt solutions company helping consumers better understand their options for dealing with unsecured debt.We are building a significant presence within the Filipino-American community, and we’re looking for an experienced Filipino marketing strategist to help us understand this audience at a much deeper level.
This is NOT primarily a media buying, graphic design, or social media management position.
We’re looking for the person who develops the ideas behind the advertising.
Someone who understands
Why do Filipinos respond to certain messages and ignore others?What builds trust with Filipino-Americans?
What financial topics are uncomfortable or misunderstood?
When should we use English, Taglish, humor, emotion, family, education or straightforward messaging?
And most importantly
How do we turn those insights into advertising that generates qualified customers?Your Mission
Help us crack the Filipino-American market in the United States.You’ll work directly with our leadership, sales, advertising and creative teams to understand our customers and develop better marketing strategies and creative concepts.
Your responsibilities will include
- Researching Filipino-American consumer behaviour and financial attitudes
- Understanding differences between first-generation immigrants and Filipino-Americans raised in the U.S.
- Reviewing our existing Meta/Facebook advertising and identifying why certain messages work or fail
- Reviewing feedback from leads, sales calls and our sales team
- Identifying customer objections, misconceptions, motivations and trust triggers
- Developing new advertising angles, hooks and campaign concepts
- Helping determine when to use English versus Taglish
- Developing concepts for static ads, short-form video, UGC and founder-led content
- Writing or directing advertising copy and video scripts
- Working with our graphic designers and video editors to turn concepts into finished creative
- Reviewing campaign results and developing the next round of creative based on actual customer response
- Helping us build a repeatable Filipino-American marketing playbook

Why did this customer respond?
Why didn’t they understand the message?
Why do they trust one person but not another?
And then you should be able to turn those answers into better marketing.
What We’re NOT Looking For
We’re not looking for someone whose primary experience is:
- Posting on Facebook and Instagram
- Managing social-media calendars
- Designing graphics in Canva
- Running Meta campaigns without developing the underlying creative strategy
Initial Engagement
This will begin as a 90-day contractor engagement.For the right person, there is an opportunity to develop into a long-term position and play an important role in our company’s marketing strategy.
Compensation: ₱70,000–₱100,000 per month, depending on experience.
Location: Remote – Philippines
