Role Purpose The Senior PowerPoint & Presentation Specialist exists to support People Avenue's clients' UK marketing, sales, bids, and client delivery teams by producing high-quality, executive-ready presentations and visual materials at speed. This role is responsible for transforming raw, complex, or inconsistent content into clear, compelling, and visually polished PowerPoint presentations that support business development, client communications, proposals, and senior stakeholder decision-making. Success in this role means delivering accurate, brand-aligned, high-impact presentation work with minimal handholding, strong ownership, and calm execution under pressure.

PowerPoint & Presentation Delivery

  • Create, refine, and elevate executive-level PowerPoint presentations, pitch decks, bid presentations, proposal decks, and client-facing materials.
  • Turn raw, complex, technical, or inconsistent content into clear, structured, visually strong presentation narratives.
  • Improve slide logic, flow, visual hierarchy, formatting, and overall storytelling.
  • Redesign existing decks to improve clarity, polish, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Work primarily in Microsoft PowerPoint, ensuring all outputs are editable, usable, and practical for internal and client-facing teams.
Sales, Bids & Marketing Support
  • Support the client's UK sales, bids, marketing, and client delivery teams with presentation-led design requirements.
  • Assist with high-pressure, short-deadline requests, including same-day or next-day turnaround where required.
  • Create materials that support pitches, proposals, client meetings, leadership updates, and business development activity.
  • Support Word-based proposals, bid documents, diagrams, infographics, and process flows where needed.
Stakeholder Management
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders, including marketing leaders, sales teams, bid managers, consultants, and delivery teams.
  • Interpret vague, evolving, or incomplete briefs and convert them into clear, professional outputs.
  • Ask the right questions to clarify requirements, timelines, priorities, and expectations.
  • Push back constructively where needed to improve the quality, clarity, and impact of the final output.
  • Escalate blockers, conflicts, or risks early to the appropriate manager.
Workflow, Prioritisation & Ownership
  • Manage incoming design and presentation requests with strong personal organisation.
  • Prioritise competing deadlines across sales, bids, marketing, and delivery work.
  • Maintain visibility over workload, deadlines, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and the People Avenue manager where required.
  • Deliver work with minimal day-to-day supervision while maintaining high quality and responsiveness.
Brand, Quality & Systems
  • Follow the client's brand guidelines, templates, presentation standards, and internal processes.
  • Maintain consistency across PowerPoint decks, Word documents, diagrams, and related visual assets.
  • Help improve templates, slide libraries, reusable assets, and presentation systems over time.
  • Work only within approved client systems, including SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all client security, legal, and data handling requirements.
  • Use only approved devices, systems, and software as required by the client.
Tools & Design Capability
  • Use advanced PowerPoint features including slide masters, layouts, templates, formatting systems, icons, charts, diagrams, and reusable components.
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud where required, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Create clear infographics, technical diagrams, process flows, and simple visual frameworks.
  • Use AI-assisted tools and productivity methods where approved to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
Key Metrics / Success Indicators
  • Quality and accuracy of PowerPoint presentations and visual materials.
  • Ability to deliver executive-ready work within agreed deadlines.
  • Turnaround time for urgent sales, bids, and marketing requests.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction from the client's marketing, sales, bids, and delivery teams.
  • Brand consistency across decks, templates, documents, and visual assets.
  • Ability to manage multiple urgent requests without quality drop.
  • Responsiveness, reliability, and communication quality during UK business hours.
  • Compliance with confidentiality, SharePoint, laptop, and client system requirements.
  • Improvement of reusable templates, slide libraries, and presentation processes over time.
Core Relationships Internal: Works closely with the Department Head, Direct Manager, and cross-functional teams.

External: Works directly with People Avenue's client, including marketing, sales, bids, consulting, and client delivery stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in or with consulting, professional services, engineering, technology, utilities, infrastructure, or enterprise environments is good to have.
  • Experience supporting sales enablement, bids, proposals, or client delivery teams.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign.
  • Experience with Figma, Canva, AI design tools, or other creative productivity tools.
  • Experience creating process flows, technical diagrams, service diagrams, and business frameworks.

  • Work Hours: UK business hours, to be confirmed based on client requirement
  • Lunch Break: 1 hour
  • Attendance Tracking: Attendance will be tracked through People Avenue's approved clock-in or clock-out system.. We do not use Time Doctor or Hubstaff.
  • Overtime: Overtime requires pre-approval from the Direct Manager or Client Lead.
  • Availability: The role requires consistent availability during agreed UK working hours to support sales, bids, marketing, and client delivery stakeholders.
