Senior Specialist, Programming and Content Curation Disney Entertainment (DE) brings together the Disney’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. DE is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company’s content engines. DE also manages operations of the Company’s streaming services including Disney , Hulu, ESPN and Disney Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

Disney is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Star and more. Disney is available on most internet-connected devices and offers commercial-free programming with a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content. Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, the service is also the exclusive streaming home for the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.

The role is responsible for assisting in executing programming and content curation plans for Disney . It is vital to plan and execute content strategy and high impact curation to ensure subscribers are engaged via a calendar of editorial initiatives that support content discovery and time spent viewing, critical to supporting broader business KPIs of subscriber retention and customer lifetime value. The role will become an expert/super-user in the Disney programming and curation tool.

This role is based in The Philippines. Build, publish and manage content on Disney in the Disney CMS in order to maximize audience engagement and retention. Ensure the Disney platform is up to date with the latest content made available through our delivery workflow.

Quality-asegur the content as it is published to the Disney platform, checking that content plays out as expected, appears in the planned placements and all information is accurate, localised, and of the highest editorial standard. Identify, triage and elevate urgent issues through support channels as required. Work closely with the regional programming & content curation team and global teams to wireframe the service each week, prioritizing events and programs depending on a variety of global/local requirements, and in the editorial tone of voice of the D service.

Work closely with marketing teams to ensure alignment of local messaging and agreed prioritisation of titles on the service. Assist in the trafficking of artwork assets and metadata. Partner with Product teams on testing new features in the CMS to improve guest experience.

Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organisation to ensure smooth information-sharing, issue resolution, and workload transitions. Track performance of merchandising areas of the service over time. Leverage assigned market & service behaviour data, audience research to drive data and analytics that determine effective programming strategies.

Work closely with Lifecycle and Brand & Content Marketing to ensure business priorities are communicated accurately and according to the broader content marketing strategy.
