ServiceNow Solutions Architect

About the role Guides and leads the delivery of ServiceNow implementations by providing guidance and thought leadership to both client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. Ensures that new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from technical, business, user, and other perspectives. Describes solutions in language understandable to all stakeholders and facilitates communication between process owners and the C-Suite. Key responsibilities - Understand how available technologies can be used to solve business problems - Understand what frameworks, platform applications, or technical stacks can be used to create solutions - Understand how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will interact with each other - Understand how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported - Define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow - Clearly define for stakeholders how Governance works with respect to the platform and project - Clearly define what Organizational Change Management is and why it is a key component of a successful project - Address Configuration vs. Customization considerations - Address Technical Debt About you - Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences - Professional Certification: IT4IT, ITILv4, TOGAF - ServiceNow Certifications: CSA, CAD, ITSM, Plus two other discipline CIS-Certifications (ITOM, ITAM, ITBM, CSM, FSM, SecOps/GRC, HR) - High-level understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, APIs and mobile application design - Participated in 20+ ServiceNow implementations across various disciplines - 3+ years of architecting solutions in ServiceNow platform - Experience preferred: ITSM, ITILv3 - Certifications preferred: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist
