Singapore English Generalist (Long-term Remote - No Experience Required)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for Singapore English speakers with authentic local accents to join our long-term AI speech data collection project.

This is a remote freelance opportunity where you will help improve next-generation AI speech technologies by recording your own voice and completing simple transcription or writing tasks based on your recordings.

We are seeking reliable contributors who are interested in working with us for around 2–7 months and can maintain a stable daily work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify and select suitable reading materials based on the project requirements, and record yourself reading the selected content aloud.
  • Complete simple written tasks related to your recordings (such as transcription, verification, or text input, depending on the project).
  • Ensure recordings are clear, natural, and produced in a quiet environment.
  • Follow project guidelines and quality standards.
  • Submit work on time and communicate regularly with the project team.
Requirements

Language

  • Singapore English at a mother tongue and authentic level.
  • Natural pronunciation and fluent speaking ability.
Work Availability
  • Available for long-term cooperation (2–7 months minimum).
  • Able to work on a regular daily schedule.
  • Consistent availability is highly preferred.
Equipment
  • Smartphone or computer with a stable internet connection.
  • Quiet recording environment.
  • Good quality microphone (phone microphone is acceptable unless otherwise specified).
Personal Qualities
