Role Description The Social Media Content Moderator is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig, focused on maintaining a safe and positive online environment for client communities. In this role, the moderator reviews and evaluates user-generated content across social media platforms, applies platform and client-specific guidelines, and takes appropriate actions such as approving, flagging, or escalating content.
The position involves monitoring real-time feeds, identifying potential policy violations, and documenting decisions to support quality, consistency, and compliance. The moderator collaborates closely with team leads and trust and safety specialists, provides feedback on emerging trends and risks, and contributes to process improvements. The role may require working in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous coverage.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to assess user-generated content quickly and accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective team collaboration.
- Comfort working with social media platforms, content management tools, and moderation or reporting systems.
- Ability to apply complex policies and guidelines consistently, exercising sound judgment in sensitive or ambiguous situations.
- Resilience and emotional maturity when exposed to potentially disturbing or high-volume content, with a commitment to personal well-being.
- Proven ability to work on-site in Taguig, adapt to shift schedules, and meet productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in trust and safety, community management, customer support, or related digital operations is an advantage.
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in fields such as communications, media, psychology, or IT is beneficial.
