What You'll Be Doing
Execute functional, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing across multiple game titles and platforms.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
Execute and maintain detailed test cases, test suites, and testing documentation.
Analyze defects, validate fixes, and perform regression testing throughout development.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to prioritize testing activities and support release readiness.
Assist in developing test plans, testing strategies, and quality documentation.
Support test environment preparation and build verification activities.
Help mentor junior testers by sharing best practices and providing day-to-day guidance.
Contribute to continuous improvements in testing methodologies, workflows, and team efficiency.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging testing techniques, tools, gaming hardware, and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
2+ years of professional experience in game quality assurance or software testing.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing principles, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience creating, executing, and maintaining structured test cases.
Ability to write clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Experience validating development builds and supporting release testing.
Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
Passion for video games and a commitment to delivering exceptional player experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience testing console, PC, or mobile games.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience working with development environments such as Visual Studio or similar tools.
Exposure to test automation concepts or scripting is a plus.
Experience leading small testing efforts or mentoring junior QA professionals.
