Spanish Bilingual VA - Healthcare

Join Our Team as a Spanish Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant!

Work closely with U.S.-based doctors and medical specialists to provide excellent patient care and customer service—all from the comfort of your home! No prior medical experience required – just fluency in Spanish, BPO experience for more than a year, and a strong willingness to learn medical terminology.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish (both written & spoken)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Strong interest in learning medical terminology
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in U.S. medical insurance (Eligibility, Pre-authorization, Referrals, Claims)
  • Also welcome: At least 1 year in a BPO or VA bilingual role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply medical terminology in Spanish
  • Work with medical professionals to ensure accurate communication
  • Assist in translating medical documents and materials
  • Help create a bilingual healthcare environment

Technical Requirements:

  • Desktop or laptop (Device must have at least a Ryzen 5 or Intel i5 processor)
  • For Mac: Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) or Intel-based Mac equivalent
  • Must have a backup device
  • Dual monitors required
  • Reliable primary and backup internet connection with a speed of at least 50 Mbps (pocket Wi-Fi or prepaid are acceptable as back ups)
  • Secondary power source (UPS, generator, power station, etc.)
