Spring Boot Software Engineer

As a Spring Boot Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend components of modern web applications. While the role focuses primarily on Spring Boot development, you'll also work across the application stack, integrating with internal and external APIs, enhancing existing systems, building new features, resolving production issues, and improving overall system performance and reliability.

We're looking for engineers who take pride in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, are comfortable working in collaborative environments, and have experience contributing to shared codebases using Git.

Requirements:

Role Requirements

· Has 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using Spring Boot.

· Is a strong independent contributorwho can take ownership of work, navigate ambiguity, and deliver with minimal supervision.

· Has experience developing and maintaining both frontend and backend componentsof web applications.

· Enjoys coding and has great code hygiene: You must be very comfortable with writing and explaining code. In addition, you must be able to write clean, clear, and maintainable code as you are not the only one who will read and work on your code.

· Has demonstrated experience working with:

o Spring Boot o some or all of our usual tech stack (i.e., Python, JavaScript, React, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Airflow, Dagster)

o any SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)

o cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)

o APIs and system integrations o git

· Has strong communication skills

· Makes things fast:
