Spring Boot Software Engineer (6-Month Contract) | Remote

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Spring Boot Software Engineers to join a technology consulting team delivering high-impact AI, data, and software solutions for enterprise clients.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building and maintaining scalable web applications, working across the application stack, and collaborating with highly technical teams. While the primary focus is backend development using Spring Boot, candidates should be comfortable contributing to frontend components and integrating with internal and external APIs.

As part of a collaborative engineering environment, you will help build new features, maintain existing applications, troubleshoot production issues, and improve overall system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Spring Boot
  • Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and integrations
  • Contribute to frontend development when required
  • Develop scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
  • Optimize application performance and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers
  • Create technical documentation as needed
  • Work independently while managing priorities and deliverables
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot development
  • Strong Java development background
  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications
  • Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience with some or all of the following technologies:

Pay: Up to Php90,000.00 per month
