Description/Information

The Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for establishing and managing client baselines, ensuring they meet standard formats and invoicing requirements. This role involves monitoring client activity, organizing invoice submissions, and maintaining data consistency across waste audits and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Create baselines for both prospective and contracted clients, ensuring they follow the standard format and have invoice expertise.
  • Track prospective clients, stay informed on the submission of new invoices, and organize them in prospective client folders.
  • Monitor and update the status of baselines .
  • Prepare Sustainability Agreements to be shared with the Business Development team and clients for signature.
  • Track and manage client renewals.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in sustainability analysis, environmental management, or a related role
  • Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and quantitative assessment of sustainability metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and time management
  • Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • High emotional intelligence, with strong self-awareness and empathy
  • Has reliable primary and back up tools for a full time remote role
