System Administrator (Jira, Confluence, REST API)

Schedule: Night Shift The Position:

The Jira & Confluence Administrator is responsible for the configuration, administration, and optimization of Jira Clou d and Confluence Clou d. This role supports enterprise workflow design, system governance, integrations, and user enablement. The administrator ensures platform stability, security, and effective usage while enabling teams through efficient tooling and best practices

Job Responsibilities:

Jira & Confluence Administration
  • Configure and maintain Jira Cloud projects, workflows, screens, issue types, fields, permissions, and notifications
  • Administer Confluence Cloud including spaces, templates, permissions, and content organization
  • Manage user and group access, ensuring compliance with governance standards
Integrations & API
  • Build and maintain integrations using the Jira REST API, including JSON, tokens, and webhook-based automation
  • Support internal systems and reporting tools that interact with Jira Cloud
  • Ensure secure integration patterns, including service account and token governance
Governance & Optimization
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for Jira Cloud project configuration and Confluence Cloud space governance
  • Monitor licensing, storage, and system configuration hygiene
  • Work closely with security/compliance teams to ensure platform audit readiness
Support & User Enablement
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud
  • Assist teams with workflow design, automation configurations, templates, and knowledge‑base structure
  • Create documentation and deliver training on platform best practices.
Required Skills:
  • 3–5+ years of experience adminis tering Jir a Clo ud and Confluenc e Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Jira Cloud workflow design, schemes, permission models, and project configurations
  • Hands‑on experience leveragi ng the Jira R EST API for integrations and automation
  • Experience with Jira Cloud Automation, including triggers, conditions, and actions
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support both technical and non‑technical teams.
Desired Skills
  • Atlassian ACP certifications (ACP‑610, ACP‑620, ACP‑100)
  • Experience with enterprise API integration platforms or automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Confluence macros, templates, and structured documentation models
  • Experience managing integrations between Jira Cloud and ServiceNow, including workflows, data synchronization, and API alignment.
