Technology - Infrastructure, Summer Analyst (Internship)

Join Citi’s Summer Technology Analyst Program to innovate and manage global technology infrastructure in a leading financial institution.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Design, implement, and maintain physical infrastructure components, including data centers and server rooms.
  • Ensure stability, availability, and performance of all technology infrastructure.
  • Manage capacity planning and growth for computing and storage resources.
  • Oversee design, deployment, and operation of global network connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network efficiency and security.
  • Manage network devices, protocols, and services.
  • Administer and support operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows) and virtualization platforms.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS) and related services.
  • Ensure proper configuration, patching, and security hardening of servers and computing environments.
  • Collaborate with global teams on technology projects supporting Citi’s strategic priorities.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Graduating between December 2026 and July 2027.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related tech field.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • No requirement for U.S. work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Interest in working in a high-tech global technology environment with a basic understanding of programming languages (Linux, Python, C++, Java), application development, or relational databases.
  • Problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and challenge.
  • Global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • Excellent communication, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
