<p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote, UK</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary / Fixed-Term Contract, 3 days per week</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 2–3 months – Temporary Cover, with the possibility of more for the right person</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £24,000–£25,000 pro-rata</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a Temporary New Business & Admin Assistant to join a leading UK publication on a temporary contract, three days per week, for 2–3 months initially.</p><p>This is a role for someone confident and personable who enjoys picking up the phone, alongside well-organised admin work. You’ll split your time between commercial outreach, opening conversations with titles, publishers and influencers about partnership opportunities, and keeping the admin and finance side of the business organised and up to date.</p><p>It’s a great opportunity for a graduate or early-career candidate to build genuine commercial experience with a well-established publication, with real responsibility from day one.</p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><p><strong>New business (around half your time):</strong></p><ul><li>Calling and emailing titles, publishers and influencers to open conversations about working with us and how we can help drive their CPA performance</li><li>Researching brand, title and influencer contacts and building prospect lists</li><li>Supporting new affiliate partnership opportunities and helping develop new relationships</li><li>Helping spot commercial opportunities and move conversations forward</li></ul><p><strong>Administration (the other half):</strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining finance spreadsheets and records, and supporting with invoices and payments</li><li>Keeping projects and day-to-day tasks organised and on track</li><li>Seasonal support, including ordering and coordinating Christmas gifts for clients</li><li>Occasional events assistance</li></ul><p><em>You don’t need previous sales experience, we’re looking for someone personable, organised and willing to pick up the phone and learn.</em></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Confident and comfortable speaking with new people on the phone</li><li>Strong organisational skills and genuine attention to detail</li><li>Good written communication skills</li><li>A proactive attitude, desire, aptitude and application count for a lot here</li><li>Comfortable with spreadsheets, and confident using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace</li><li>An interest in media, publishing or partnerships is a bonus</li><li>Recent graduates and early-career candidates are very welcome to apply</li></ul><p><strong>What's On Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Temporary contract, 3 days per week, for 2–3 months initially</li><li>The possibility of more days, and a longer arrangement, for someone who shows desire, aptitude and application</li><li>Fully remote, UK-based opportunity</li><li>Real commercial experience with a leading UK publication</li><li>Exposure to major brands and high-profile campaigns</li><li>Immediate start available</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Information</strong></p><p>This is a temporary position providing additional support during a busy period of increased workload.
