CLIENT BACKGROUND

Our client is a US-based firm that helps business owners and artists regain control of their finances so they can focus on what they do best. They specialize in supporting the entertainment industry, working with musicians, influencers, filmmakers, and other creative professionals.

Their services include accounting, bookkeeping, tax services, and cash management, delivered with a global perspective and a deep understanding of both business and creative needs. With offices in New York, Los Angeles, and London, they stay ahead of industry changes and leverage technology for efficient, forward-thinking solutions. Their commitment to excellence ensures clients receive accurate financial management and proactive guidance for long-term success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain our client’s accounts payable records on a day-to-day basis
  • Deal with the customer on the front line and answer any questions that they may have
  • Set up vendors and bills for payment daily, and obtain any required information
  • Review and verify vendor W-9 forms and supporting documentation
  • Ensure invoices are properly coded and routed for approval
  • Communicate professionally with customer on the front line and respond to questions in a timely manner
  • Follow up with vendors and internal team members regarding missing information, approvals, or discrepancies
  • Issue invoices daily and complete any required supplier/vendor forms
  • Maintain an accurate Tour Diary for Gold clients based on various resources
  • Contact customers to follow up on invoices past due and handle payment issues as required
  • Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of all tasks related to a group of clients that are assigned to you

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of AP and AR experience in US-based firms
  • With expertise using cloud accounting software (Xero, QBO, etc.)
  • Tech-savvy, adaptable, problem solver, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thrives and is effective when working in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver spectacular customer service, and you have experience in a customer-facing role
