Veterinary Services and Training Specialist
Job Description:
- Provide technical support to Sales and Farm customers on disease control and swine/poultry management
- Prospecting Phase: assist Territory Business Manager in assessing health status of potential farm customers, conduct profiling, analyze herd/flock data, recommend engagement plans, assist in product presentations and launches
- Trial Phase: support feeding trials related to diseases or specific farm needs, design and implement trial protocols with Nutrition Services & Training Specialist, create reports and updates on trials
- Maintenance Phase: herd/flock health monitoring, feed performance analysis, disease occurrence tracking, perform necropsies, prepare farm visit reports, conduct training and seminars for farm personnel, recommend vaccination and medication programs, submit specimens to diagnostic laboratories
- Provide technical assistance to Agri-Centers’ customers and distributors on animal health issues, recommend vaccination and medication programs, conduct training & seminars, assist Sales during product launches
- Technical training to Sales Team: equip Sales with technical knowledge on swine/poultry management, assess training needs, design and execute training programs, perform annual re-evaluation
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Graduate of BS Veterinary Medicine or any related course
- Licensed Veterinarian
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- At least 1-2 years experience in Veterinary Medicine in a farm environment, preferred
- Knowledge of animal health and diseases – physiology, specific diseases and characteristics
- Proficiency in diagnosis and treatment of diseases
- Knowledge of product parameters
- Communication skills – oral presentation and written communication
- Interpersonal relations skills
- Computer literate
- Driving skills
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written(technical/financial) communication skills
- Knowledge of major aspects of procurement, construction, project control and financial
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good Management skills (PLOC)
- Highly detail-oriented
