About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Virtual English Teacher / English Tutor to provide personalized one-on-one English lessons.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping students strengthen their English skills by creating customized lesson plans based on each student's learning level, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct an initial English assessment to evaluate each student's proficiency.
  • Develop a customized learning curriculum based on the student's needs and progress.
  • Create engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Teach one-on-one online English lessons.
  • Improve students' skills in:
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary
  • Spelling
  • Writing
  • Speaking & Pronunciation
  • Listening Skills
  • English Conversation
  • Help students build confidence in speaking and communicating in English.
  • Assign homework and learning activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
  • Provide regular progress updates and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Teacher (preferred but not required).
  • TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience teaching English or ESL.
  • Experience teaching children high school level.
  • Ability to independently assess students and create customized lesson plans.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Patient, engaging, and enthusiastic teaching style.
  • Experience teaching online using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
