WFH Accounting/Finance Assistant (Microsoft Excel)

Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting/Finance Assistant (Microsoft Excel) to support a growing London-based operation. In this role, you will take full ownership of day-to-day financial workflows, acting as the primary point of contact for payroll, bookkeeping, and invoicing. You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain accurate financial trackers and ensure seamless payments across a multi-partner business structure.

Schedule:

  • Part Time - 20h per week - Mon - Fri 8 AM EST - 12 PM EST
Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage monthly payroll for shareholders and contractors.
  • Maintain and update bookkeeping records using Excel trackers.
  • Execute regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and send client invoices and monitor collections.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to finance and operations.
  • Support the Head of Operations by taking ownership of routine financial workflows.
Requirements:
  • Background or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written communication skills for client-facing correspondence.
  • It helps if you are familiar with multi-partner business structures.
