WFH Amazon E-Commerce Data Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an accurate, self-motivated, and highly dependable Amazon E-Commerce Data Specialist to support their growing online catalog and e-commerce platforms. Operating in a remote capacity, you will be responsible for uploading product specifications, managing backend inventory data, and ensuring e-commerce listings—particularly on Amazon—are pristine and error-free. This role is ideal for an autonomous professional who thrives in structured, detail-oriented work, learns new software quickly, and takes pride in exceptional output with minimal supervision.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Inventory Maintenance: Accurately enter, update, and audit high-volume product descriptions, SKUs, pricing, and technical details across internal databases and online platforms.
  • Amazon Listing Support: Manage product listings, catalog data, and backend inventory fields on Amazon Seller Central, ensuring alignment with Amazon’s formatting guidelines.
  • Data Integrity & Quality Control: Perform routine checks to catch typos, missing fields, pricing discrepancies, and duplicate entries, ensuring overall system accuracy.
  • System & Tool Navigation: Quickly adopt and navigate internal software tools, spreadsheets, and databases to retrieve or input catalog information.
  • Process Compliance: Strictly follow provided processing guidelines and operational instructions while maintaining steady daily production targets.
  • Communication: Receive verbal and written instructions in English and flag data inconsistencies or operational bottlenecks to management proactively.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in a Data Entry, Virtual Assistant, or E-commerce Support role.
  • Strong written and verbal English comprehension to accurately interpret instructions, guidelines, and feedback.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently meeting accuracy and productivity metrics.
  • Exceptionally reliable, trustworthy, competent, and meticulous with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly master new software, operational tools, and web-based applications.
  • Technical Setup: High-speed, reliable internet connection, a quiet remote workspace, and a primary computer setup suitable for high-volume data tasks.
