WFH Amazon Marketplace Specialist

Role Overview

Dalton Safety is seeking an experienced Amazon Marketplace Specialist to take ownership of its Amazon business across Vendor Central and Seller Central. This role is responsible for driving marketplace growth through effective account management, product listings, advertising, pricing, inventory, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident managing both day-to-day operations and long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Marketplace Management

  • Manage and optimize Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts.
  • Monitor account health, policy compliance, suppressed listings, chargebacks, and catalog issues.
  • Act as the primary owner for Amazon-related performance, issues, and improvements.
Product Listings & Catalog Management
  • Create, maintain, and optimize product listings using Amazon SEO best practices.
  • Resolve listing issues, duplicate ASINs, variation errors, and content inaccuracies.
  • Maintain accurate product information by coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.
Sales Growth & Advertising
  • Develop strategies to increase sales, conversions, rankings, and market share.
  • Plan, manage, and optimize Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display).
  • Monitor campaign performance, including ACOS, ROAS, keywords, bids, and budgets.
  • Analyze competitor activity and identify marketplace growth opportunities
Pricing, Inventory & Profitability
  • Monitor pricing, profitability, Amazon fees, and advertising spend to protect margins.
  • Manage FBA inventory, stock availability, replenishment, and fulfillment performance.
  • Identify slow-moving, overstocked, and high-potential products
Brand & Performance Reporting
  • Improve product content, A+ Content, Brand Store, and overall customer experience.
  • Monitor customer reviews, returns, and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, advertising, profitability, account health, inventory, and growth recommendations.
Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience managing Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon listing optimization, SEO, keywords, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience managing Amazon Advertising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margins, profitability, and marketplace analytics.
  • Experience resolving catalog issues, suppressed listings, variation problems, and maintaining account health.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and take full ownership of the Amazon channel.
Desirable
  • Experience with PPE, safety products, industrial supplies, workwear, tools, or other technical/B2B products.
  • Experience managing FBA inventory, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and Brand Registry.
  • Familiarity with Amazon reporting tools or third-party marketplace software.
  • Experience using Shopify, Cin7, Xero, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of product compliance, technical specifications, or regulated product categories.
