Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Vancouver, Canada (Pacific Time) (4 hours per day/20 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry for client bookkeeping records and financial documentation.
  • Work with spreadsheets and financial data using Google Sheets for various client projects.
  • Support journal entry preparation and financial statement processes under direct supervision.
  • Handle level 1 bookkeeping tasks with comprehensive review and feedback from the founder.
  • Participate in daily check-ins and task coordination meetings to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist with back-office administrative tasks that support client service delivery.
  • Follow established processes and procedures while helping to refine and improve systems.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all financial data handling.
  • Basic Social Media Management – Tasks: Schedule and publish posts, and content creation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience reconciling bank accounts and managing bank feeds.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience working with multiple companies or multiple QuickBooks files is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Dropbox, OneDrive or similar cloud-based document management platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and file management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple recurring tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
