WFH E-Commerce Ops Assistant (Photoshop & Etsy)

Job Overview

Our client is a growing photography business dedicated to capturing stunning landscape photography and transforming those moments into high-quality decorative prints sold via Etsy. As they build this brand from the ground up, our client is looking for a proactive, versatile, and eager Assistant to help with photo editing, daily administrative tasks, and order fulfillment.

This is a multi-faceted support role perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of photo editing, e-commerce assistant tasks, and daily administrative routine. Because this business is being built from scratch, our client needs someone collaborative and helpful who is excited to help handle daily operations, manage logistics across multiple storefronts, and support the business as it grows from 0 to 1.

Schedule:Monday - Friday, flexible within business hours [PST/California Time] (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Photo Editing & Creative Support
    • Image Enhancement: Edit and enhance raw landscape photographs using Adobe Photoshop and/or AI enhancement tools.
    • Retouching: Adjust colors, remove imperfections/distracting elements, and enhance lighting to ensure photos are ready for print.
    • Logo Design Support: Help design a logo and basic visual assets for the brand’s initial launch.
  • E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment
    • Order Processing: Check Etsy and other e-commerce platforms daily for new customer orders and compile the necessary details.
    • Fulfillment Support: Organize, manage, and monitor the entire delivery process via Etsy and other e-commerce platforms to ensure high-quality prints are accurately sent out and delivered to customers on time.
    • Booking Assistance: Help schedule and log client inquiries or appointments as needed.
  • Administrative Support
    • Customer Service: Reply to customer messages on Etsy and other channels in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
    • Email & Calendar Management: Check emails, filter inquiries, and help organize calendars and meetings.
  • Growth Support (Bonus)
    • Basic Shop Optimization: Assist with updating online listings, tags, and titles using targeted keywords to help improve visibility.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Adobe Photoshop or AI photo editing tools to clean up and enhance images.
  • E-commerce & Logistics Familiarity: Prior experience handling tasks on Etsy and other e-commerce platforms (processing orders, managing the delivery pipeline, and replying to messages).
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills with experience managing logistics, email inboxes, and digital calendars.
  • Communication: Good written English skills for handling customer service inquiries and coordinating logistics.
  • Mindset: Highly collaborative, helpful, detail-oriented regarding shipping/fulfillment, and eager to take day-to-day tasks off the owner's plate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred / Bonus Skills: Basic understanding of keyword research and e-commerce SEO to help optimize product listings for better search visibility.
