WFH Global Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Global Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to manage international sourcing, vendor relationships, and end-to-end logistics operations. The ideal candidate has experience working with global suppliers (particularly in China, Turkey, and Israel), strong negotiation skills, and solid knowledge of import/export procedures and freight coordination. This role also oversees inventory planning and stock movement across multiple warehouse locations.

Client OverviewThe client is a product-based company operating in international markets, sourcing from global suppliers and distributing products—particularly in the U.S. market. They require a proactive logistics professional to support overseas production, freight coordination, and multi-warehouse inventory management.

Schedule

  • Working hours are flexible but looking to have someone start at around 11am Israel time.
Responsibilities
  • Place purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries from vendors
  • Manage relationships with global suppliers to ensure timely shipments and quality compliance
  • Coordinate international freight logistics (air and ocean shipments)
  • Obtain competitive freight quotes and optimize shipping costs
  • Handle shipping documentation, customs requirements, and import/export regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to meet demand
  • Manage stock across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring accurate tracking and replenishment
  • Work closely with accounting to process vendor invoices and manage payment schedules
  • Communicate shipping updates with internal teams and customers
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping standards and trade regulations
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics (lighting or electronics industry preferred)
  • Proven experience sourcing from China and managing overseas production timelines
  • Strong understanding of international shipping (freight forwarders, DHL, UPS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, and global trade documentation
  • Experience managing stock levels across multiple warehouses
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; QuickBooks and ERP system experience preferred
  • Experience working with companies that sell products in the U.S. is required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
Qualifications
  • Background in LED lighting or electronic component supply chain
  • Experience managing both freight and small package shipments
  • Hebrew or Chinese language skills are a plus
