WFH Lead Research & Data Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Lead Research & Data Specialist to be the research engine behind a growing marketing startup. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying both content creators and businesses that match specific criteria for partnership opportunities. This is a high-volume research role where your ability to filter, assess, and compile accurate data will directly impact the company's ability to scale their outreach and close new partnerships.

You'll work independently to build prospect lists complete with contact information and qualification notes, setting the foundation for successful business development.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible during client business hours [AEST/AEDT] (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify content creators who meet specific follower counts, engagement rates, and niche criteria.
  • Research and qualify businesses that fit within defined target parameters for partnership opportunities.
  • Compile detailed prospect information including names, social media handles, follower counts, email addresses, and qualification notes.
  • Filter large volumes of data to identify the highest-probability prospects based on provided criteria.
  • Document why each prospect is a strong fit according to the company's success factors.
  • Organize research findings in Excel or Word documents with clear formatting and contact details.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to ensure all prospects meet the specified filtering criteria and provide enough volume of qualified leads.
Requirements
  • Proven experience conducting market research and lead generation.
  • Strong ability to filter and assess prospects against specific criteria.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand nuanced qualification requirements.
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar tools for organizing and presenting research data.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Instagram, and understanding of follower metrics.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional written communication skills for documenting research findings.
