Job Scope

Direct Student Support & Case Management

  • Mentor High Needs Students (HNS) one-on-one, offering guidance, homework help, and emotional support.

  • Assist with case management, parent/student engagement, progress tracking, and documentation.

Behavior & Student Well-Being

  • Maintain discipline during daily routines and school events (e.g., camps, Speech Day).

  • Deliver motivational talks and lead light physical activities to boost resilience and health.

Collaboration & Administration

Coordinate student interventions with school staff and parents.

Handle general administrative and office duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience in youth work, student support, or social services; school environment experience preferred.

  • Certifications: First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, or crisis de-escalation certifications preferred.

    Working Hours

    • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

    • Fridays: 7:30am to 4pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

    • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
