Zoho Books Bookkeeper & Automation Specialist (Part-Time)

Zoho Books Bookkeeper & Automation Specialist (Part-Time)

We are seeking an experienced Zoho Books specialist to help organize, clean up, and maintain the accounting for a growing organization.

Please do not apply unless you have significant, hands-on experience with Zoho Books. This position requires someone who is already highly proficient with the platform and can work independently within it.

This position will begin as a hands-on project to bring our books up to date for both last year and the current year. Once everything is properly organized, the role will transition into an ongoing maintenance position requiring approximately 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

* Review and clean up accounting records for the previous fiscal year.

* Organize and reconcile the current year’s books.

* Configure Zoho Books automation to streamline recurring tasks and improve efficiency.

* Review workflows and recommend best practices for automation and reporting.

* Ensure financial reports and key performance indicators are accurate and reliable.

* Communicate regularly regarding transactions, questions, and any information needed to maintain accurate records.

* Perform ongoing bookkeeping and account maintenance after the initial setup is complete.

Qualifications

* Extensive, real-world experience with Zoho Books is required.

* Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.

* Experience designing and implementing Zoho Books automations.

* Ability to identify and correct bookkeeping inconsistencies.

* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

* Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating closely during the initial cleanup phase.

About the Organization

This position supports one organization that operates two businesses within a single set of books in Zoho Books. The successful candidate will need to understand how both businesses are tracked and reported, identify inaccuracies affecting each operation, and ensure the financial records for both are accurate while maintaining the integrity of the combined accounting system.

About Us

I am very familiar with Zoho Books and know how to use the software. However, as my businesses have grown, I no longer have the time to keep the books current myself. I’m looking for someone who can become a trusted partner—someone who not only cleans up the books but also helps build an efficient system that requires minimal ongoing maintenance.

The goal is to establish accurate financial records and dependable reporting so I can confidently rely on the numbers to make business decisions.

If you have extensive Zoho Books experience, enjoy creating efficient systems, and are looking for a long-term part-time relationship, I’d love to hear from you. Please include a brief summary of your Zoho Books experience, any Zoho certifications you hold, and examples of automation or workflow improvements you’ve implemented using Zoho Books.
