Role: C1 Trainee Driver Installer 7.5T

Position: Permanent

Pay: £35,100 (Equivalent to £16.42ph)

Location: Innova Park CDH (Customer Delivery Hub)

Hours: 41 hours week 06:00-17:00

Potential over time
5-week rotating shift pattern including 3 out of 5 Saturdays
No bank holiday or Sunday working.

About the Role:

 

As a driver for the Partnership, you will promote the Partnership brand professionally and courteously to our customers and other road users. The Partnership is committed to the earning recognition scheme in association with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. (DVSA)

 

What will your day look like:

 

Your typical day will start with completing daily vehicle checks, following correct defect reporting procedures and correct use of your digital tacho card.

After checking your pre-loaded vehicle you will then undertake your deliveries, collections and installations for the day alongside your colleague.

 

Communication with your customers is key and you will need to ensure you call every customer 30 minutes before you are due to arrive. Upon arrival, you will deliver the customer’s goods to their room of choice, offer to unwrap and remove the packaging and undertake any services that have been booked. These may include:

Installation and disconnection of white goods
Assembly of flat pack
TV installations
Skills you’ll need

Strong verbal communication skills both over the phone and face to face
Please note that this role involves heavy lifting, the products we deliver include kitchen appliances, furniture and sports equipment.
Required Qualifications:

Must be aged 18 or over
A valid B Driving Licence (with a maximum of 6 points)
