We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Complex Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a young client living in Bradford with complex healthcare needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life while building a meaningful relationship with both the client and their family.

Our client enjoys spending time on his PlayStation, watching YouTube and movies, socialising, and going on family outings. The family particularly enjoys day trips and activities during school holidays, so we're looking for a caring, engaging individual who can support him both at home and in the community.

The Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide specialist support, helping to promote independence, comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and daily living support
  • Assisting with mobility and positioning
  • Supporting clinical and complex healthcare needs
  • Administering medication as trained and authorised
  • Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
  • Supporting community access, leisure activities, and family outings
  • Building positive relationships with the client and family

Essential Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs and be confident with:

  • Enteral feeding
  • Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)
  • Oral suctioning
  • Cough assist
  • Nebuliser care
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Medication administration
