- Act as first point of contact for all ER cases - investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, AWOL, and occupational health.
- Coach managers to handle ER confidently, providing advice on UK employment law and company policies.
- Monitor absence KPIs and highlight trends to drive improvements.
- Partner with Occupational Health providers to ensure colleagues receive the right support.
- Take ownership of site-wide HR projects in areas such as wellbeing, ED&I, and recognition.
- Deliver training sessions to upskill managers and embed strong HR practice.
- Champion continuous improvement in how we manage people and processes.
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record managing ER cases from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent organisation, detail, and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with confidence to influence managers.
- Team player with the ability to inspire, motivate, and act as a role model.
- A second language (particularly Eastern European) would be an advantage.
