Junior Paid Media Executive (Music) Motive Unknown

Motive Unknown is a strategic marketing consultancy working with artists & managers, record labels, music creation platforms, music hardware and other music‑adjacent companies. We help our clients grow and forge better connections with their audiences.
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Paid Media Exec to join our team. The ideal candidate will be keenly immersed in online culture and have experience with managing paid media bookings and best practices across key paid channels. They would have an understanding of digital media strategies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Support Paid Media Executive on client projects to plan and execute best‑in‑class paid media campaigns.
Book paid social campaigns on Meta, TikTok and YouTube across a range of clients, from artists to record labels to software companies.
Provide input on campaign creative based on results driven through ad spend.
Analyze the impact of the marketing activity, providing detailed reports on paid spends and generally providing insight as to what is working and what might require fine‑tuning.
Produce dashboards and reports for our client‑facing team members.
Maintain good organization and timekeeping.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Intelligent and diligent, with an eye for detail.
Experience of ad booking on Meta, TikTok and Google (mostly YouTube).
Keenly immersed in online culture: social media, online communities, trends, viral moments – the ebb and flow of all culture online.
An ability to critically appraise campaigns and creative, both to understand what does/does not work, but also to ask what else is possible.
Experience of analysing data via advertising platforms, Google Analytics, etc.
Good working knowledge of spreadsheets and structured data.
Awareness of music and its audiences is preferred but not essential.

Location
We are currently a remote business, and as such welcome applications from anywhere in the UK. We will not accept applications from overseas.
Salary
The starting salary for this role is £29,770.00.
