Keyboard and Data Entry Operators

vServices Ltd is looking for administrative data entry operators for updating, retrieving, and maintaining information contained in the firm’s computers. He/She shall be responsible for carrying out tasks such as transferring paper information in computer folders or files. The candidate must have fast typing speed.

Education – Bachelor’s degree

Experience – 2-5 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

To assemble, classify and enter information and keep accounts up to date.
To maintain clear record of account source, set discrepancies and to send back incomplete records to concerned team leaders for completion.
To enter clients’ account information by utilizing the numeric and alphabetic facts on optical scanner keyboard in line with screen format
To adhere to data procedure and program techniques when performing data entry duties
To confirm that the entered account and customer information is correct; to evaluate, delete, and reenter information when it is incomplete, get rid of duplicated files when clearing out.


Competencies

Excellent English and mathematical skills.
Swift and prompt in performing assigned task with a sharp attention to details
Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and data bases
Prompt in customer service skills with confidence and particular focus to confidentiality.
Ability to handle transactions in line with established procedures and policies; and to give account of necessary modifications made
Outstanding ability to inspect accounts and customer system modifications by entering new data and evaluating output
Used to work under tight deadlines
Adequate consciousness of safety issues
